Why Our Beef Is Different
At Kimes Family Farm, we focus on raising beef the right way — with care for the animals, the land, and the families we feed.
Our cattle are primarily grass-fed and pasture-raised, with supplemental spent grain sourced from local breweries. This allows us to repurpose nutritious byproducts while supporting other local businesses and reducing food waste.
After harvest, our beef is processed in a USDA-inspected facility and dry-aged for 10–16 days to enhance tenderness and flavor.
What sets our beef apart:
Pasture-raised cattle with a grass-based diet
Supplemental spent grain from local breweries as a sustainable feed source
USDA-inspected processing for safety and quality
Dry-aged beef for exceptional flavor and tenderness
We offer beef by the quarter, half, or whole, as well as sampler packages, individual cuts, and ground beef. All products are available for local pickup to ensure the freshest quality.
